CME Housing Products: Cash Index Release Time Change – Effective Tuesday, January 30, 2007 and Change in Last Trading Day Closing Time – Effective February 27, 2007

Effective Tuesday, January 30, 2007, the underlying cash index for CME Housing products will be released at 8:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) on the last Tuesday of each calendar month.  This is a change from the current release time of 1:15 CT.  

Additionally, effective Tuesday, February 27, 2007 (with the expiration of the February ’07 contract), the last day of trading for the expiring contract will change to 2:00 p.m. Central Time of the business day preceding the scheduled cash index release date (from 12:00 p.m. CT of the scheduled cash index release date).   For example, the February 2007 CME Housing futures and options contracts will stop trading at 2:00 p.m. CT on Monday, February 26, 2007 (instead of 12:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, February 27, 2007).
